Scott Overson

Scott has over 25 years of experience with Intel in key leadership roles, having lived and worked in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific, he’s witnessed first-hand the transformational impact technology has in enriching lives and making companies/organisations more competitive and productive.   

Among his previous roles, Scott was president of Intel Japan, responsible for all sales/marketing in the third largest economy and tech market in the world. During this time, he was responsible for multi-billion dollars in revenue and delivered record results.

Other roles included general manager of Intel’s EMEA Industry Solutions Group. Based in London, Scott supported leading enterprise clients and governments through their digital transformations. Under his leadership the Group thrived; as well as exceeding contract expectations, he established new frameworks for expectations, culture, behaviours and processes, and extended its reach to over 20 countries.

Scott was also country manager for Intel, Mexico, responsible for sales and marketing in the fifth largest emerging market in the world. Under his leadership, he developed key customer and government relationships at the highest levels which resulted in the business consistently delivering truly extraordinary results. Scott was vice president of AMITI (Mexican association of the IT industry) and received Intel Americas’ Sales and Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award.

As director of Intel’s vertical sector Marketing Group for the Americas, Scott developed a strategy to increase business in markets such as financial services, healthcare and government etc. From his base in Oregon, he became an industry leader, spearheading short-term wins and developing collaborative programmes which resulted in $1 trillion of government stimulus across the region. 

Scott’s experience includes designing and delivering an extensive range of end-to-end technology solutions and collaborating on sales and marketing initiatives for the complete value chain in the dynamic tech industry.

He is also a frequent public speaker on the positive impact of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship and has supported several worldwide events, including the Dell Forum UK, Campus Party, Oracle World Mexico, INC Monterrey and Mexico Business Summit.

 Scott has a MBA from the University of Oregon and a degree in business management from Brigham Young University.  He enjoys outdoor activities and lives in Portland, Oregon.
