CEO LOVIS Spain
Carlos Allende is an executive who has spent his entire career in the information technology and telecommunications industry, having started as a systems engineer at IBM and reaching leadership positions as Vice President of Business Solutions and General Manager at AT&T and Unisys respectively.
Carlos graduated of Electronic Systems Engineering and MBA from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He has a Diploma in Banking and Finance from ITAM and the ICAF, he coursed the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University, the Senior Management Program from IPADE, the General Management Program at University of Pennsylvania and the Executive Program at Singularity University.
He has successfully defined and executed business strategies that have led to profitable operations, increasing market share, and achieving high rates of employee and customer satisfaction, both in Mexico and in several Latin American countries.
One of his main strengths is the development and management of both direct and indirect sales teams, applying a consultative approach to understand the environment of large companies in industries such as: Finance, Retail and Telecommunications with the objective of implementing ICT based solutions that allow them to achieve their business goals.
Being passionate about technology and business, he does not see one without the other and considers that his role is to serve as an advisor in the adoption of leading-edge solutions and services that allow his clients to develop their digital transformation focused on their products / services, processes, employees and customers.
He has had relevant positions as a representative of the information technology industry both nationally and globally at AMITI (Mexican Information Technology Industry Association, A.C.), CANIETI (National Chamber of Electronic Industry, Telecommunications and Information Technologies) and WITSA (World IT and Services Alliance).
Carlos joined LOVIS Team in 2020 as the CEO for LOVIS Spain, leading the internationalisation process to Europe and overseeing everything related to the Spanish operation.
