International award-winning IT and FS professional, with fellowships in engineering, insurance, marketing and additional qualifications in supply chain management. He has been identified as one of the top 20 Global Thought Leaders in AI. Based in the UK, he also has a special interest in China and LATAM.
After graduating from the University of Bradfor with honours degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, he started his professional career in GAB Robins in 1982, where he stayed until 1995. He never stopped promoting until he became director and UK leader of complex property claims, established and implemented best practice. It was 1998 when he signed with RSA as Property Network Manager and Programme Director. He reengineered property claims supply chain and created new practices that allowed RSA save x000 coupled and improve the customer experience.
Subsequently he collaborated with Pitney Bowes MapInfo in 2007 where he held the position of Strategic Industry Manager Insurance and was in charge of the GTM strategy, deep and industry insight. He also has been Vice President – International Solutions in CoreLogic, implementing international strategy for Marshall and Swift and Building Services Director in Capita, where he managed supply chain acquired by Capita from McLarens.
His magnificent career path allowed him to become, in 2008, in the Worldwide Executive at IBM, the leading cloud platform and cognitive solutions company.
in 2016 he left IBM so he could devote himself to writing, publishing his first two books: ‘Analytics for Insurance: The Real Business of Big Data’ and ‘Advanced Analytics and AI: Impact, Implementation and the Future of Work’. Currently he is well-known stablished and international author. In 2020 his third book, ‘AI and the Future of Banking’ will be released.
In addition to the above, Tony uses his 40 years of deep knowledge and proven business experience providing consultancy and mentoring services to established businesses and start-ups. He is focus on market entry support, data and analytical support, supply chain and bid management and marketing, training and communication.
